The main purpose of House Night is to help all Irinians old and new to bond, and what better place is there to do this than at District 21? This is where we Irinians spent House Night for the second term of the 2015 academic year. For those of you who do not know this, District 21 is a post-apocalyptic themed park located in the IOI City Mall in Putrajaya. Granted this might not seem like the place to go to for a day of bonding, but the activties at the park are supposed to be centred around team building.
Personally, I wasn’t particularly in the mood to drag myself all the way out to Putrajaya for House Night, but I now know that I would have regretted missing out on it. There are 11 attractions available in District 21, namely the Power Station, Roller Glider, GoPedal, Pump Track, Sky Trail, Low Ropes, Launch Pad, The Maze, Free Fall, Tubby Ride and the Carousel.

It is impossible to try out all of these in one short afternoon. The queues leading to each attraction were murderously long. Having to wait for more than half an hour outside each attraction does have its silver lining though—it gave us the opportunity to talk and get to know each other a little better. Many of us found that we have things in common (such as a great dislike for long queues).
After a few hours of bonding at District 21, we left the park to do a bit of shopping and to have dinner. Despite not getting the chance to spend time with every single member of the house, we were still able to bond really well, and in all I would consider this House Night a success.
